Passing of Guy Vincent Wilson #2833
Oct 12, 1962 – May 24, 2021

Many of you may remember Guy Wilson who served in CPS from 1988 to 1998. Sadly, Guy has passed away on May24th after a lengthy illness. Guy and his first wife, Lorna Wilson, who were still friends, contacted Susanne Tarrant and asked if she could arrange a fan out to the CPVA.

Lorna wrote, “Guy started with CPS in 1988, graduated 1989 and I believe his last year was 1998. He enjoyed working for CPS and especially loved the relationships he developed with many of the members. In spite of the busy and high pace work he had many stories to tell of the fun times he had working with his colleagues. Due to health issues he felt it best to quit the force early and see if the change of lifestyle would help. Unfortunately the battle continued over the years with the last 4 years being the toughest. He had many fond memories of the members he worked with but of course the closet were his partners and friendships that developed through all the time spent together”.

Lorna also said that her son, Colten Wilson, (Guys son from their marriage) now 25 years of age, is having a difficult time dealing with his father’s death. Lorna asks that if anyone has a good story about their time with Guy, to please email her at Lorna.WilsonD@outlook.com

Lorna will pass them on to Colton as she believes it may help him with his grief.
