Passing of Keith McDonald #2575

Our friend and brother, Keith McDonald, passed away at home on January 22, 2025 at the age of 75. Keith had broken his foot almost a year previously and his health began to decline from then to a diagnosis of COPD and some heart problems. While at home, Keith laid down for an afternoon nap and did not wake up. His wife, Jean, discovered him nonresponsive and called 911. Keith spent his career from 1982 to 1998 serving in 6 District working in many zones within as well as the Subpoena Unit and the front counter. At Keith’s request, no service was held. 
 
Although one of Keith’s sons posted Keith’s death on Social Media in late March of this year, that information was not shared with me until late last week resulting in this late reporting notice. I spoke to Keith’s wife of 53 years and she is understandably still hurting and struggling to deal with Keith’s death.
 
Jean is not familiar with the internet and does not use email. If you would like to extend your condolences and words of support to Jean and her sons, James and Jason, you can mail her a card or letter to:
