Passing of Peter Grens #1877
As with all of our fan outs, the following CPVA fan out contains personal material that is intended solely for members of the CPVA and must not be posted on any Social Media site. Thank you.
You may recall that about 2 weeks ago I fanned out a notice that our friend and brother, Peter Grens, was being transferred to a hospice to continue his battle with cancer. Unfortunately, Peter passed away on Sunday July 26th 2026. Peter was 86 years young.
Peter joined CPS in 1976 and began his career in C6. From 1978 to 1982 he worked in the Traffic Section and then transferred to the Communications Section. From there in 1991, he went to 4 District where he retired in 2000.
