                                                                                  Peer Support For Vets

Bill Sturgeon and I have been working closely with the Calgary Police Service over the past months to having the CPVA included in the Peer Support and Psychological Services that the CPS offers serving members.

We are happy to report that there now exists a website that you can connect to seek out any assistance you may need. I know that traditionally we don’t seek help when we need it, but quite frankly times have changed and so should we. Have a look around the site and remember that it is for serving members, civilian members and retired members, so not everything will apply to you. Some of it will however.

This is the Peer Support Internet main link to get started so "click" on link:    http://peersupport.calgarypolice.ca/access/

See Picture #1 and #2 (below) to assist you to register and then to logon to Peer Support program accordingly.

You will need to first register for this Peer Support program site so "click" on the word “Register” as seen in pic #1

You will get an email confirming your registration.

Then add your information to logon to the Peer Support program as shown in pic #2

Remember your Username and Password or better yet write it down somewhere safe.

All the very best,
Mike Turcotte
