CPS Strike Force member, Senior Constable Jim Wilkinson #3565 sadly lost his wife, Debbie Wilkinson, unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023. Many of our newer members will know Jim and probably Debbie as well.
A benevolence fund has been established through the CPS Legacy Place Benevolence Fund to assist Jim and his family during this difficult time. Sworn and Retired members can contribute to the benevolence fund through any of the following methods:
• Sending an e-transfer to info@legacyplacesociety.com Please include a note directing the donation to “Jim Wilkinson” in the message, as well as the full name of the donor and mailing address to receive a tax receipt. Also include “CPVA” or Retired Member.
• Mailing a cheque to: Legacy Place Society, C/O 3 Chapman Way SE, Calgary, AB T2X 3R1. Make sure you put in the memo portion of the cheque “Jim Wilkinson” .
Any contributions are appreciated, no amount is too small.
The funeral for Debbie is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes located at Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North. The family has had an incredible outpouring of support from the CPS and Debbie’s colleagues at WestJet, whom she kept in touch with after her retirement.
