Doug Anderson #2144 Health Update
Diane Anderson has advised us of a very urgent matter concerning her hubby, Doug Anderson (#2144).
Many of us have worked with Doug during his 25 years with the CPS. In 2015 he suffered kidney failure and Diane donated one of her kidneys to him and all went well until he contracted Covid and his kidneys failed once again.
He is in urgent need of another kidney transplant and is on the immediate transplant list which means he could get a call at any moment to leave his house in the Okanagan and find a place to rent in Vancouver for the 2-3 months after surgery for medical professionals to monitor him for rejection or infection.
Diane will have to take time off work to care for Doug after his surgery.
This all will be a very costly and very stressful venture.
