Ernie is survived by his daughters Brenda (Brian), Beverly and son Brad, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Passing of Ernie Reimer #1079

I have some sad news. Our friend and brother, Ernie Reimer #1079 passed away this morning, November 19, 2023.

Ernie was very active in the CPVA up until he began to have some health issues last year. He was pre-deceased by his wife Adele a few years ago.  Ernie was of course Chief of Police in Calgary and again in Regina.   

His long history with CPS is a story of legend, but as a man and a leader he really stood out.

At the moment, I don’t have any details about plans for a service.

I am sure I will have that information sometime this week and will pass it on just as soon as I do.
