Passing of Paul Gardam #1122

Sadly, I must report that our friend and brother, Paul Gardam passed away on March 16, 2023. Paul was 89 years old and was for a long time, the most senior serving member with almost 43 years’ service when he retired.
This fact culminated into a common expression within the CPS family when someone had done something for a very long period of time; “You’ll make Gardam look like a quitter!”.
Paul was a Director with the CPVA for many years and was the Editor of the veterans newsletter, Easy Street, right up to 2008 when he handed that job over to me. Paul was a regular at the Vets luncheons for too many years to count, right up to a few years ago when he faced some health challenges.
