Looking for the Original CPS Rugby Team Challenge Coin Les Hough is seeking to purchase one of the original CPS Rugby Challenge Coins. He says that during the City finals for rugby, a male ( by the name of Bob ) gave a father of one of our players a challenge coin, for his son. This challenge coin is unique and identifies with the original CPS police rugby team of which I was a part of. I would love to get in touch with “Bob” and see if I could acquire a coin. If you have a coin and would like to sell it to Les or you know who this “Bob” is, please email Les Hough directly at: les.hough@icloud.com Like with all CPVA fan out emails please DO NOT just hit the "reply" tab but click on the actual email itself to correspond with said name in any fan out notice. Passing of Peter Grens #1877 As with all of our fan outs, the following CPVA fan out contains personal material that is intended solely for members of the CPVA and must not be posted on any Social Media site. Thank you. Y ou may recall that about 2 weeks ago I fanned out a notice that our friend and brother, Peter Grens, was being transferred to a hospice to continue his battle with cancer. Unfortunately, Peter passed away on Sunday July 26 th 2026. Peter was 86 years young. Peter joined CPS in 1976 and began his career in C6. From 1978 to 1982 he worked in the Traffic Section and then transferred to the Communications Section. From there in 1991, he went to 4 District where he retired in 2000. If you would like to send a message of support and condolence to his son, Geoff Grens, please feel free to do so directly at his email: morodin1877@gmail.com Mike Turcotte turc11@telus.net Like with all CPVA fan out emails please DO NOT just hit the "reply" tab but click on the actual email itself to correspond with said name in any fan out notice.
